Deceive and Slaughter

A TOOL TO DECEIVE AND SLAUGHTER (2009) <-- It is a physical sculpture that is perptually attempting to auction itself on eBay... Every ten minutes the black box pings a server on the internet via the ethernet connection to check if it is for sale on the eBay. If its auction has ended or it has sold, it automatically creates a new auction of itself. Work by Caleb Larsen --> Check this interesting interview with Caleb from NPR's On the Media discussing the project. Totally radical.

If you spent money and this Fecal Face guy came onto the stage to speak, what would you wanna know/ hear me ramble about? Probably a good idea to get your opinions before I get too far into this. Your thoughts much appreciated.

SF Rides Bikes

Help San Francisco become even a better/ safer place to ride your bike. They've released a new FREE app for the IPhone called CYCLETRACKS which records your bike route and then uploads it to the Transportation Authority's servers so they can help plan bike lanes/ routes/ lights/ etc... They can easily record auto info, but not bikes. By using CycleTracks, you'll be helping San Francisco's transportation planners better understand the needs of cyclists - and you'll get to see maps and statistics of your rides. Be a good citizen and use it from time to time.
