:: Thursday ::

Man, it won't slow down. Too much shit to do. Our livers are going to quit on us, but we must continue. Thursday evening is filled with shows to check out and music shows to see. Our pal ol' buddy, Jeremy Fish, is showing at Fifty24SF (details) and then Aesop Rock is performing at The Independent to raise money for 826 Valencia. In the middle of the show they'll be premiering Fish Tales which is a short film starring Mr. Fish... Not to be missed. Trust us. Plus the show is for a good cause. Check it all out Thursday.
Other great things to see Thursday evening: Thee More Shallows at Cafe Du Nord!!! One of our favorite bands in the city. Read an interview we did with them a month ago... Music wise, also Thursday is 3 Inches of Blood/Early Man (Slim's); Magik Markers/Skaters (Hemlock);
Art Wise: Construction @111 Minna featuring works from David Choong Lee, Romanowski, and Daniel J Burt... Shepard Fairey lecture & book signing @SFMOMA... Group Show @White Walls... and another group show at The Shooting Gallery. These two galleries are right door to each other on Larkin in the TL. Always good stuff.... Check our calendar for full listings of events... and if you live in NYC, you'll be happy to know that there are loads of great shows worth checking out there too. Check our NYC calendar. You'll want to check out After the Reality @ Deitch, but you already knew that.
