:: Horse Races Tonight ::

Tonight is one of four Friday Nights Alive that they have from time to time @Bay Meadows horse race track in San Mateo (10 miles south of SF). It's the only time they have night racing with cheap beers/ food, crappy bands, and horse races. The best part is that you can take Cal Train (can drink on the train) right from SF to the track, and you can bet as little as $1... It's good times. The downside? Once we saw a horse die of a heart attack right during the race. It sucked.

:: Tonight ::

Ok, there are a lot of shows opening tonight, but there are two we're excited about... Our ol' buddy, Mat O'Brien is showing tonight in the back room with photos from Brian Gaberman in the front of Adobe Books on 16th st. Music from North Korea which is a side project from Adam who's the drummer for The Mall. Click here for more info... and speaking of Adobe Books, Eleanor Harwood who used to curate Adobe has opened her own gallery named, by a curious coincidence, The Eleanor Harwood gallery. Tonight they're opening a show of new work by Paul Wackers. Be sure to check to keep this gallery on your radar because she put together some great shows there @Adobe. A major one would have been our ol' roommate, Simon Evans who has gone on to bigger and better things.... Oh and The Mall are kicking off their tour tonight with a farewell show @The Knockout

FECAL FACE DOT COM PRESENTS THE FIRST EVER OUTER MISSION ART WALK/ DRINK LINK THIS FRIDAY EVENING!!! <-- Ever heard of a drink link where people meet up at one place to drink and socialize where after an hour or so the party moves onto the second location? After an hour or so at the next location, it's on to the third, forth, fifth, and so on. It's a party on wheels you could say... Well, we took that principal and added art. We're going to meet at one gallery, have some beer, check out some great art, listen to some good music, and then after an hour or so, we're going to all move onto the next gallery where we'll repeat the drinking, socializing and art looking.
