We spent a day playing dice, drinking, and doing stupid stuff. Thumbgunner Corey Adams.
The first public screening was held Tuesday around 5 pm and entry was $12 (well worth it).
There were tons of other movies and shorts that played. Unfortunately, I was only able to make it to Corey's film. Next time though I'm going to try and see if I can catch more of the other films too.
We arrived early and met up with various friends who were looking forward to seeing his film.

When we got to the theater, we realized that we could sit in any "Reserved" seats! Man, Corey hooked it up

Rick McCrank in his first acting debut. He was really good and super funny. One of my favorite characters.
Afterwards, we headed to the roof to have more drinks. Ill Phil gives me the finger as usual.

We had some free wine, which wasn't mixing well with our beer-filled stomachs so we decided some food and more beer was in order.

After a few pitchers we took a quick street prison photo. Check out that wide shot hahahah.
Then we headed over to a gallery where the Bike Film Festival Joyride Art Show where some of Corey and Alex's buddies were preparing for their opening at the Morono Kiang Gallery.
Super dark shot, but this is the interior of the Bradbury Building where they filmed that Bladerunner scene with the spiral staircases. We wanted to go check out the building but we thought the security guard said - You can go up to the 3rd floor, but use the elevator
Don't use the elevator . . . but we were already drinking and riding this thing to the 3rd floor. Super sketchy old elevator that Phil was operating. When that thing stopped, I got the hell out!!

We headed back in and I checked out some of Marco Zamora's detailed artworks.

Some how we got Travis home thanks to Robert's insane driving. In the morning, we met up with Alex and Jeffro at Mustard Seed.
We pretty much lounged around all day, fighting hangovers and smelling up my bathroom. We decided to waste some time drinking in the park

Production designer and artist Jeffro is a rad dude. He told us some of the funniest and craziest stories.

Congrats to Corey, Jeffro and Alex. Macho was a super well done and full one movie. Layered and beautiful.
Alex snags the camera and tries to catch me in mid-dancing action. Trust me it's nothing notable. Ever seen a person having a seizure? sorta of like that but with noodling
