Photographs and text by Michael C. Hsiung and Human Pyramids
First view the trailer for the film to get a taste and then view the photos.

We spent a day playing dice, drinking, and doing stupid stuff. Thumbgunner Corey Adams.
The first public screening was held Tuesday around 5 pm and entry was $12 (well worth it).
There were tons of other movies and shorts that played. Unfortunately, I was only able to make it to Corey's film. Next time though I'm going to try and see if I can catch more of the other films too.
We arrived early and met up with various friends who were looking forward to seeing his film.
Pearl Hsiung gets in line to pick up some of her passes thanks to Corey!
Everyone stands around awkwardly as I try and snap a group shot.
Everyone finally poses for me. Corey Adams, Pearl Hsiung, the Hobert aka Robert, Hovin Wang, Sean McGaughey, and Travis Millard.
Travis and his two Asians work out the drinks. Hahaha.
Hovin and Anthony Amerdori, AKA, "Walter Rhum", share a Santori time.
A couple more drinks before the movie.
I'll have a Pacifico, some chips, and oh yeah . . . a giant dildo.
When we got to the theater, we realized that we could sit in any "Reserved" seats! Man, Corey hooked it up
Before the movie started, they showed some short skate videos and other shorts
The movie begins and the crowd goes wild. Cake shop stop.
The Baron - the owner of Machotaildrop!
Rick McCrank in his first acting debut. He was really good and super funny. One of my favorite characters.
Afterwards, we headed to the roof to have more drinks. Ill Phil gives me the finger as usual.
Phil holding up Corey's white Canadian passport . . . with evil intentions.
We had some free wine, which wasn't mixing well with our beer-filled stomachs so we decided some food and more beer was in order.
Cheers to Corey Adams, Alex Craig, and Jeffro for a movie well done.
Everyone working together to get Travis more drunk. Corey about to fill his glass.
Two good dudes Corey and Travis
After a few pitchers we took a quick street prison photo. Check out that wide shot hahahah.
Then we headed over to a gallery where the Bike Film Festival Joyride Art Show where some of Corey and Alex's buddies were preparing for their opening at the Morono Kiang Gallery.
Super dark shot, but this is the interior of the Bradbury Building where they filmed that Bladerunner scene with the spiral staircases. We wanted to go check out the building but we thought the security guard said - You can go up to the 3rd floor, but use the elevator
Don't use the elevator . . . but we were already drinking and riding this thing to the 3rd floor. Super sketchy old elevator that Phil was operating. When that thing stopped, I got the hell out!!
Going up and hearing the security guard yelling something.
Phil is really really stoked to be on the third floor.
Some of the folks from Machotaildrop - Alex Craig, Corey Adams, and Jeffro . . . then Phil and Jenn from the Bicycle Film Festival.
Jeffro and Chaplin
Phil, Chaplin, and Sandro.
Jenn and Corey mounting Charlie Chaplin.
We headed back in and I checked out some of Marco Zamora's detailed artworks.
Phil and Robert checking out art pieces.
Skateboard and bikes are a good mix.
Marco Zamora in front of his works.
Some how we got Travis home thanks to Robert's insane driving. In the morning, we met up with Alex and Jeffro at Mustard Seed.
We pretty much lounged around all day, fighting hangovers and smelling up my bathroom. We decided to waste some time drinking in the park
Canadian and Scottish dudes like the sun and drinking! Shirtless Fritto sharing Alex Craig. ha-ha.
Production designer and artist Jeffro is a rad dude. He told us some of the funniest and craziest stories.
Time to head over for the Private screening.
Jeffro, Alex, and Corey - the dudes of Machotaildrop.
Artist Donny Miller fingerbanging . . . I mean withdrawing money from the ATM. HAH.
Some sick Machotaildrop posters free for the taking.
Live music and free drinks afterwards or before. . . I can't remember the sequence of these photos anymore.
Artist Teddy Kelly and Robert showing off their guns, although for the record I beat Robert in arm wrestling when Andy visited. Still heavily disputed win.
Teddy and Kurt join the band or rather take it over.
Later we hit the bar in Echo Park. Jeffro and Alex talking to some dude who was filming them as a part of the film festival.
Congrats to Corey, Jeffro and Alex. Macho was a super well done and full one movie. Layered and beautiful.
Alex snags the camera and tries to catch me in mid-dancing action. Trust me it's nothing notable. Ever seen a person having a seizure? sorta of like that but with noodling
Jeffro rocking it out of his system.
Congrats again to the guys on a well done job.
