Last thing I remember before arriving in Sao Paulo.
The great Tristan Rault, one of the curators for the MCD project, greets us at 1am to take us to a hotel... We're tired, and I order another beer while we wait.
The first night in a foreign country is trippy. Everything is new and awesome... From what we read and heard, thought we were flying into Bagdad or something.
Day one and view from the room... in future blogs we'll go over Sao Paulo graffiti known as pixação... incredible stuff that covers the entire city.
Pari Bar sponsored the show, thus we got to eat our meals there for free... Historic low-key drinking den that once brought together leftist politicians, musicians and journalists—rumor has it Fidel Castro got his drink on here.
Lucky for me, today they're serving Brazil's traditional dish FEIJOADA. Salty, yes, but so good. Takes 18 hours to make!

Now we taxi over to the great museum Sao Paulo Museum of Art (MASP).
The São Paulo Museum of Art is well-known for its headquarters, a 1968 concrete and glass structure designed by Lina Bo Bardi, whose main body is supported by two lateral beams over a 74 meters freestanding space, considered an landmark of the city and a main symbol of modern Brazilian architecture.

Dinner time... This place is great. They had sweets, pastries, sandwiches... anything. It was like a normal US restaurant/ buffet on crack.

Note: Don't buy the cheapest wine available. No Two Buck Chuck in Brazil. Had to mix the crude with orange soda which is quite good... Try it. mix red wine and orange soda. I think you'll be surprised.
From our patio we could see a guy burning tires next to the highway as cars zoomed past.
