Seattle, 25, BA, I have one of these: flickr.com/photos/emmertwilliam/
When I was a kid I was really into wrestling. I would rent all the old pay per view tapes form Blockbuster and keep track of all the matches in a notebook. I so badly wanted to be Jake the Snake or the Million Dollar Man. I guess now I use wrestling imagery to speak about and engage my childhood perceptions of being a man. I also just think wrestling is great subject matter and the kind of stuff that my 8 year old self would really dig.
Filled in line drawings over found images. I always feel my descriptions are lacking. I'm way more interested in what other people have to say to me about my drawings.

Old WWF magazines, my old baseball card collection, Trapper Keepers, Dinosaurs Attack! and John Baldessari.
Burgers of any kind are fine by me.

I usually work at night while I listen to the radio or have a TV on in the background.
I work at a Theater. One that shows plays not movies.

I draw and paint over old cut up print media. So a major part of what I do revolves around hunting down new images and sources for imagery. So If anyone has an old collection of wrestling magazines or trading cards they don't want I would gladly take them!
House paint, Bic pens, Yes Paste, gouache, wood grain contact paper, Kinko's, old magazines and trading cards.

I'm really excited about moving to San Francisco at the end of summer to start my MFA at California College of the Arts. I was just down in San Francisco and I toured the grad campus, which was a lot bigger in person then it looked in photos.
I would do boring things like save and plan for the future. But I would probably spend some cash traveling in South America.
Drawing or hanging out with friends. Since the world cup started I have been spending a lot of time watching games while I draw.

I love the summers in Seattle when they go right. Cindy's Pancake House, Discovery Park, the great Thai food and the old rope swing into the Fremont cut.
I wish 7-Eleven would bring back the grape slurpee. They don't have grape flavored slurpee's around Seattle anymore. I remember having one a super long time ago from the 7-Eleven by the old downtown skatepark when it still had the metal ramps. I have been looking for one ever since, but still have yet to find it. Instead we get all these nasty crystal light flavors, fuck you 7-Eleven bring back Grape!
I have a couple drawings in the Ryan De La Hoz curated group show "We Haven't Felt This Way In Years II" at Gallery Heist. Also, I should have a small book of some of my wrestling drawings coming out soon through French Fourch and their new collection "Discovery".
