Vivian Sachs is pleased to present Exposeure. Exposeure will occur on November 9-14, 2009, at Space Gallery, 1141 Polk Street, San Francisco, CA 94109. Exposeure is a showcase of fashion and travel photography as captured through the eyes of Vivian Sachs and William Cao.

Vivian Sachs will be presenting a collection of fashion photography that will feature models Ariana Afshar, Andy Allo, Stephanie Birch-Molina, Megan Christina, Angela Cubillos, Mariah Longo, Midori Longo, Anya Katanski, Jackie Martinez, Hilarie Meija, Ana Maria Predovich, and Melisha Welch, with wardrobe designs by McKell Maddox and Jennifer Summers and make-up artistry by Tiffany Purdy and Jackie Nguyen. Vivian will also be displaying several personal works from her travels and adventures.

As a lifelong junkie for destinations, archetypes, and lexicons, Vivian is bemused with infinite organic and inorganic spaces and enjoys experimenting with delicate compositions and different formats to which photography can be presented on. Vivian is a self-taught photographer who strives for fashion, travel, portrait, and wedding photography which captures the pleasant moments of contingency and reflects snowy innocence. Her passion for fashion photography, in particular, was spurned after a trip to New York to meet celebrity photographer Markus Klinko in September 2007. Since then, Vivian has been published in the New York Times. She occasionally does concert photography for the Independent in San Francisco when she is not documenting weddings or working on fashion photo shoots.

William once wanted to make pillowcase hats for Christmas but took on photography instead. His love for classic spurns a style of black and white photography that portrays life in a manner that is not so black and white. He seeks to document experiences that provoke obscure feelings uncommon to normal life and sensations that are sometimes indescribable. Each photograph taken during times of sentimental reveries is enough for him to remember his exact affections toward the world and the people in it during that fraction of a second. William is self-taught in using completely manual cameras and continues to traditionally self-process all images in the black room himself.
