Opening: Monday January 25, 2010

After the enormous success in 2007, Galleria Patricia Armocida is proud to announce the return of OS GEMEOS for their second solo exhibition at the Milan gallery, which opens on Monday January 25, 2010 at 6:30PM.
Otavio and Gustavo Pandolfo (1974, Sao Paulo, Brazil), identical twins better known as Os Gemeos, were pioneers of Brazilian writing in the mid 80s. Aside from the incredible works they've created in the streets of Sao Paulo, in recent years they've also been invited to show their creations in museums and in some of the most important art expos worldwide.
For this exhibit, entitled Nos bracos de um anjo (In the arms of an angel), they will present never-before-seen works: large canvases, musical sculpture-objects, mechanical and interactive site-specific installations which will be created in the gallery itself.

Os Gemoes with their busy schedules were kind enough to answer a few of Fecal Face's readers' questions. We didn't edit their answers at all... Like getting emails from people who don't speak the best English... Thanks to everyone who Twittered, Facebooked, and left comments with their questions.
What type of music do the twins enjoy listening to?
folk, reggae, rock, rap, opera, dub step, experimental...
What did they think of there time spent in San Francisco?

Has anyone ever asked you to do a commission for the American TV show called "The Simpsons?" They've got the same yellow tone as your pieces. It'd be a great collaboration!

we bealive in the same dream, and complement with other.
Kevin Wallace asked: Where do they come up with the narratives for their stories behind some of their work? Are they self-generated folklore, or just local stories? If they are self-generated, how much of it comes from their personal life?
