I'm 22 years old, I'm from the quaint village of Valley Stream New York. I'm currently finishing up graphics for a simple portfolio site.
Tell us a little bit about your work.
Umm, generally I feel my work is a menagerie of influences and experiences that in one way or another peek my interest, whether it be something like a color combination or something more abstract like a sound I heard, the spectrum is pretty broad. But more specifically I feel my work amalgamates two or more conflicting aesthetics in visual language. They don't compete for attention, however each highlights the others unique qualities and serve as a metaphor for other relationships with a similar disposition.
Influences?
I love cartoons, animation in general is a nice thing, good comics, bad comics, Jack Burton, Mondo Gecko, both Slade and Wade Wilson, Nausicaa, imaginary Friends Studios, K.M.D, Mega Turrican, motivational speaker Willie D, Kiko Loureiro, Chick Corea, Norin Radd and Blackagar Boltagon.
Describe your process for creating a new piece.
The physical process involves a lot of foraging for graphic elements that for one reason or another I find interesting, it may be just for a particular color, letterform, or just some nice pattern. After that or before that Ill make a traditional painting maybe an illustration or a retinal painting to be combined with the graphic elements that I feel correspond and enhance the composition for whatever reasons.
Day job?
I recently quite my job tattooing in Uniondale for a multitude or reasons but I just got a call for an interview with Marvel Entertainment hopefully I luck out and get to spend some time there.
Best thing that happened to you this week?
The Marvel Offices called my phone and left a message on my voicemail.
Tools of the trade?
Matte medium, oil paint, house paint, Bic round stick, big stacks of comics, the computer and its inner nets.

The best and worse thing about Fecal Face?
The best thing about FF is the information sharing, the documenting of a high volume and wide spectrum of art happenings on the opposite coast that many people might not be exposed to. The worst thing about FF is pseudo geeks.
