This Week's Theme: Design a HUF logo

Last Week's Winner: Last week's winner was Renato Lopes for this DJ themed piece. Renato has won: In conjunction with A-Trak's Nike+ Original Run album, Running Man (which was released on 6/24/08), Serato has produced a limited edition 12" vinyl picture disc. It is their first vinyl control picture disc.

This vinyl cannot be purchased anywhere and is available only through select promotional contests like here @FF. DJ-tastic - whitelabel.net - On ITUNES

*Remember that the words "Fecal Face" need to placed in the work but not Photoshopped in or anything. This ensures that the work submitted is in fact yours. ALSO remember that you can only vote for one drawing. We only count one vote per person, so make sure to only vote once.

Next Week's Theme: Crack Whores

Next Week's Prize: Will be announced later in the week.

This Week's Prize:

The winner of this week's Free Fridayz will win a tee with thier logo on it! They'll also win some gear from HUF... a $100 gift certificate from HUF's online shop.

Submission Guidelines for next week:

We had some great entries this week that we couldn't run, either because they weren't sized right or had nothing to do with theme. Just to be clear, when the next theme comes out the old theme is offically over. Please don't send in more submissions for old themes. It makes up feel bad when you send us stuff and we can't post it up so please read the guidlines below:

  • The size formatting is 600 pixels in width OR length - if they are bigger than this they will not be posted. So if you have a long skinny one, please make sure it is not over 600 in length or we will not be able to see it well.
  • Name your submission your first and last name. Example: john_doe.jpg
  • Include the words "Fecal Face" somewhere in the art so we know you created it (please do not to add it in later with Photoshop).
  • One submission per person by Friday at 12pm PST.
  • If you have a website (or two) please specify which one you would like me to link in the body of your email. Also, let us know where you're from!
  • Send it all to freefridayz (at) fecalface.com.

There are several that I think would be great for a shirt, and several that I think would be great for a logo. There is only one, however, that i think really works as both.

Yo Big Doe - it says to vote, not talk shit. I know 44 isn't as clean as the others but a few ppl think its good - including me. I drew it. I like it. No vectors, no photoshop, just markers and a love for slightly askew 3D lettering and a bunch of retarded colors. And I think 16 is drawn well considering the concept of "huf - ing." I'm guessing that you did 33. Great. More "street," lettering. Great job.

i can't believe people haven't caught on to the obvious vote spamming that happens on free fridayz lately, especially when the prize is a sick as the one this week. just click on the users voting the shit out of some lame piece and its obvious that someone got a bunch of friends to sign up for accounts just to throw down some extra votes. its so fucking obvious.

this being said, i refuse to vote this week. which is a shame because there are a lot of good entries that deserve to win, but what good is a vote in a fraudulent election?

I'm with you on that placer*one.
I also would prefer that freefridayz goes back to weekly concept themes rather than "design something". Crack whores is a good start.
Don't get me wrong, I really appreciate the contest and think it's a lot of fun. Just like to see it stay a cool showcase for crazy interpretations of random themes.
