You know that one song that's all about love, death, and that one time you guys fell over the ridge? The winners and losers.

Ran into Bod Boyle at Van Rock Out's BDay... Bod is the president of Dwindle.

Whoa, a blow out last week as temps around the bay got retarded... bike rides, sailing, skating...

Man meat, John Groshong, is soon to be an SF fireman dude... Add another hungover fireman to the SFFD.

He's a poet too.

On the right is Mr Meric Long and he fronts Dodo Bird. If you've not seen them yet, you need to.

As fixes become more and more popular.

Am thinking of becoming a Giant's fan this year as I watched the Tigers blow it last year. Can the Giants pull it? Got to get a new hat.

Fecal Face gets some props on the Hightower board... Damn, that show was awhile ago.

Brahms in town.

Yet another SFFD. Collinson.

Sailed to treasure Island on one of the nicest days of the year.

Rich, Kate, and Jessica

We're in San Francisco?! Why more people don't own sailboats is fuck all to me. So much fun and you can find them cheap if you look. We got ours for $850. start looking now. We need a fleet of younger people with boats.

Who needs to fly to some tropical island when we got them right here.

Richard

and then we motored back on the glassy bay in tee shirts. It was so warm and chill. Best night shit ever.

Ok, so where I was born, the Eastern Shore of Maryland, they have blue crabs and they're fucking brilliant. Much better than Dungeness to me... I've always thought it'd be amazing to have the live little fellas shipped out for some steamin and eatin, but that's pretty expensive... You can imagine my surprise that they sell some sort of Blue Crab right here in the Mission, but I ain't gonna tell you where because we later found out that they only sell the females which only mate once and it's illegal to catch and sell- well, at least in Maryland. It's pretty fucked up and I think it's illegal that they're sold here. Not totally sure. Anyone know?

But before we did our blue crab research, we bought some, invited some friends over and had ourselves a little crab dinner complete with corn, beer, and more beer... and some wine.

Poo digs them

The bath before the being steamed alive to death they're about to undergo.

As they wiggle about their death chamber, you dump a shit load of Old Bay seasoning on them, and then steam them up... Once they stop moving and turn a nice red...

You make a mess and eat the fuckers... for real. Maryland Blue Crab are the best crab ever.

Yet another work deterrence is when Irving invites me out for some baseball- seating? right behind home plate.

They have waiters when you're sitting this close. It's sweet. They take your order and then 5 minutes later you have a fresh beer in hand... No lines and you don't miss any of the game. Nice one, rich guy who gave us the tickets!

Nicole and Brett

Not much on food but got a steak from Range on Valencia the other day... That place is expensive and the food wasn't worth it... Go to Luna Park down the street. That place rules, and they got some old Damon Soule paintings on the walls to boot.

More sailing on the windiest day of the year... It was hectic out there.
Some video from last week's time on the water.

The best place to see KFOG's KBOOM fireworks is from your own boat- not the best place to photograph them though.

The next day it was time to head on over to the opening of The Pizza Place which is owned by my two old friends Kevin Barza and Dave Ashin.

I really love pizza, and this is the best pizza in the city- Hands down, and I'm not just saying that to be nice... My top pizza places now are as follows and this place takes top prize as my favorite as of now:
#1 - The Pizza Place (47th and Noriega)
#2 - De Ja Vue (16th @Guerrero)
#3 - Arnell's (16th @ Valencia)
#4 - Soranos (12st @ Valencia)
#5 - Golden Boy (North Beach)
*Gourmet pizza is gay.

Irving takes a slice down... can you spot the Myth Busters star in the background?

Lookin' good, Wolfe.

Plus they have the coolest art up. The pizza wheels move!

Walking distance to the beach

Andreas who...

Came out sailing the next day with us. Took the ferry on over.

He scrubbed the bottom of the boat as we prepped for take off.

Andreas and his urine in case you've ever wondered what he would look like holding his own urine.

Dinner time

and congrats to Jessica's brother, Ravi (also of the SFFD) and Magume (SP?), who were married on Tuesday at City Hall!!

The happy couple.

How's the mustaches coming, fellas? There's a contest going and the winner gets themselves a banjo, and I'm out already because mustaches are a bit douche, and I couldn't hang... but Matt and Rich pull it off suitably.

the smallest little VIP in town.
