Another 365-day journey around the sun accomplished. I love the time change.
I turned older, but before that happened I did other things...

Went out for beers with Mike Shine a few weeks back and ran into Ert.

And Brahm... I have no idea how to spell his Belgium name.

Down the hatch.

The next day me and the Mrs headed over to Berkeley for a class on boat motors... Nerds like that.

Instead we got drunk on sake.
and danced like retards.

Over the Golden Gate... Check the full moon.

Sober cat had...

This massively gross tick on her ass...

ugh...

This is what happens when I make dinner at our house... Looks like something out of Leave it to Beaver.

Mr. Shine being an adult at work.

Nice view from his office.

Groshong has some nutty rad icon text capability... Anyone know anything about that? I want that.

Back on the water to say good bye to grandma.

Under the gate where we said our goodbyes.

Ran into these rad little fellas later that night.

Went to our favorite happy hour spot... $1.95 chicken sandwiches and fries?!

Pier 39 claims no chain retail shops... "Locals Only, Please"

Bubba Gump Shrimp with over 28 locations world wide... yeah, just your local San Francisco ma and pop shops here.

Fisherman's Wharf is one of my favorite places to wander at night.

To start off my mega birthday weekend the great wife of mine took me on a tour of VTS.

If you're on the Bay or along the coast, VTS helps you not get run over by a tanker.

After the tour we made our way down to the boat for a quick sail.

The winds of the summer are back.

Then back home to eat Blue Crabs with the friends...

tasty little buggers

My last Sparks was consumed.

and then out to Needles and Pens for the Maria Forde show... Will add photos tomorrow.

We drank at Juice.

Thanks for the drinks...

Morning of my birthday = rough.

birthday weekend continues... back on the water.

Headed to Sausalito.

BBQ, wine and talking till late.

A little after birthday wine on the way home... Have to get the gallery by noon to open it.

After gallery sitting, it was off to the birthday family dinner finale.

with peep wars.

you put them in the microwave. They expand, and the first to deflate the other with his toothpick sword wins.

Wine bottles should always be larger than your torso.

For my birthday I got a beta fish. Say hi to Simon.
Was thinking of Casual the other day and this part, of course, popped into my head.
