Last week my friend Jessica took me to the Anchor Steam brewery. It was good times and interesting, but like an idiot I brought my camera but left the battery at home... But I did have a spare in the car. In time to get a couple shots of the Anchor Winery across the street.
Crap, I forgot his name, but he is the one who makes the wine. Nice dude. He brought a bottle for us to try.
3pm. Drunk. The coolest part about taking a tour of Anchor Steam is that after the tour they let you drink at their bar as long as you want. We stayed long enough to get pretty trashed.
The building is an awesome deco style.
We then played Crockett in the park.
And saw Meric Long play at Cafe Du Nord... The best part was staying up till 4am listening to him play at my house. Great late night. Horrible next day though. Ugh.
Black, Red, and White = great women's clothes.
Mars was out front
He's got the best dogs.
Thanks for tolerating our drunk asses, mr. Page st Bar door guy.
Watching England almost beating Portugal... Another early World Cup morning.
Softball sunday diving into wet boxes.
Cha Cha Cha after softball is the best. The food is so fucking good. The jerk chicken and sangria!
Chris and Jami
Finish is up with some whiskey at Zam Zam. It's such a good looking mellow place to meet up and have a few... Go on a week night. Best if it's raining outside.
So many old World Cup photos. Here Italy scores on Germany!
Chris is stoked. Chris owns Hotel Biron. Go there and have some wine.
Richard was happy.
and this is how I spent the fourth of july. Working all day. Ugh.
Well, not ALL day, was able to get out and see Elias in Dolores Park.
it was like WWIII down there as everyone was launching bottle rockets at everyone.
Fourth of July dinner.
We made it to a roof to get a better view of the fireworks.
and to launch things off of.
Greg gets the shots for his blog.
Rick!!!

Tried to get to Pop's but someone threw a 40oz at the back of a cop car which brought on like 20 cop cars racing towards the mission in riot gear.
It's ok, we'll just go for a bike ride... and somewhere along the way I got all excited from riding like 20 deep that I tried to launch a plastic milk jug off my front tire which was a dumb move and it flipped my front wheel which sent me flying... it was good. Not a scratch and it's a relief to know that I can pull a fall.
Short with a short

Heard a lot of "Hooray for soccer!!"
So hot out. I got sun burnt.

Randy was rooting for Italy though!
Poor Ashley.

Steps of Rome way too late. drinking.
This lady was wrecked and was scary as shit.

Got an email from Kirk with a link to this forum board that talks about a French company that does digital printing on boards. Looks pretty Cool. Can click above image for larger view. Thanks for the email, Kirk!
Just 'cause the guy was interesting. Read The Rum Diary which was one of his first and what I consider being one of his best, and they're in the process of making a film based off it with the same name scheduled for 2008. It's to be directed by Bruce Robinson who wrote and directed one of my personal favorite films Withnail and I, and if you haven't seen that, well, you need to rent it because it doesn't get too much better than that... I know one movie I'll be watching in 2008!
Written so well.
Do yourself a favor and rent this tonight.
And finally, I want to say that I rule. I was one of the four judges at this year's regional Air Guitar championships here in SF last May (that's some video above) and the guy we choose (Hot Lixx) has gone on to win the USA finals in NYC and will travel to Finland this September to represent Team USA in the Air Guitar World Championships!!!... We may have looked like a bunch of drunken slobs up there, but we knew what we were doing!
